David Strayer explains that our brains are not 1.4 kilogram machines. They get tired easily. When we slow down and let ourselves be surrounded by greenery and natural landscapes, we not only feel a rejuvenating effect but our mental performance improves. Forty or fifty minutes of nature are enough for our senses to recalibrate. We smell and hear new things, pick flowers from the field and give our house another life. Perhaps contact with nature will also make us better even for ourselves. We liked what we saw and felt in tune with what surrounds us.
